Singapore Deep-Tech Alliance (SDTA), a sustainability-focused deep-tech venture builder, has announced the launch of its enhanced venture building program for the third cohort at the annual Sustainable Innovation Asia 2023 event.
This flagship event of SDTA aims to bring together public and private sector stakeholders from the innovation ecosystem to accelerate progress towards sustainable development and achieve the global Sustainable Development Goals.
The Sustainable Innovation Asia 2023 event, co-organized by SDTA and Dentsu Singapore, will gather hundreds of participants, including alliance partners, founders, and thought leaders, to spark new ideas and insights in the deep-tech venture ecosystem.
The event serves as a platform to announce the developments in SDTA’s Venture Building Program and foster collaboration among stakeholders in the deep-tech industry.
The nine-month venture building program for the SDTA24 Cohort will comprise three phases, focusing on founder team formation, technology commercialization, customer validation, product development, and business building.
Participating ventures will have access to mentorship from SDTA’s Senior Advisory Board, market access through key alliance partners, and collaboration with research institutions.
The program aims to provide a vibrant ecosystem for deep-tech ventures and offer guidance from industry experts for proof-of-concept projects and business-building activities.
SDTA is dedicated to addressing societal challenges by building deep-tech ventures in Singapore. As part of their commitment, SDTA has launched five new Venture Tracks, including Manufacturing, Semiconductor, Healthcare, and Energy verticals, with a horizontal focus on ClimateTech spanning across these sectors.
The organization has also announced the appointment of a Senior Advisory Board consisting of experienced leaders from respective industries to provide strategic insights and thought leadership.
SDTA will introduce four collaboration models with alliance partners, including new venture creation, joint go-to-market, exclusive launch customer, and IP licensing. These models aim to facilitate tangible collaborations and accelerate innovation and growth strategies for ventures.
Notable alliance partners for 2023 include Allnex, Dentsu Singapore, Micron Technology, Norgren, Zuellig Pharma, and Panasonic R&D Center Singapore.
Entrepreneurs passionate about Climate Tech in the industries of Manufacturing, Semiconductor, Healthcare, and Energy are invited to apply for the SDTA24 Cohort by August 1, 2023, to be part of the program. Corporations interested in collaborating with SDTA can also join as alliance partners and adopt one of the collaboration models to support deep-tech ventures.
The launch of the revamped venture building program and the introduction of collaboration models demonstrate SDTA’s commitment to fostering a thriving ecosystem for deep-tech ventures and promoting sustainable innovation in Singapore and beyond.
